I praise God with all of my heart and all of my soul! He is good and merciful. I learned about God from a favorite aunt. She brought me to church and to catechism classes on Sundays. I was a good Catholic and a staunch defender of the faith. At that time I believed that born again Christians were heathens and that I would go to heaven and they would not. Such arrogance on my part yet God was merciful to me! He then led me to a Christian couple who invited me to attend their church services and Bible studies at their home. Soon I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior and then I was baptized. I then began to see God’s hand on everything. The earth, indeed, is full of His glory! I marveled even at the little plants with pretty yellow flowers growing between cement and asphalt cracks.The Holy Spirit became a constant in my life and He taught me not to judge others. I also experienced what was lacking in my life all along – a personal relationship with God. The security of my relationship with Him is a priceless gift - one that I hope and pray that those still in the dark, my family including, will be able to experience. I know God is not finished with me. Sometimes I wonder what He will have me do in His kingdom or where He will lead me. It’s exciting and et (help me here, God!), a little scary.
